Employment History

● May. 2019 - Aug. 2019        Deli, Richmond Market and Beverage (Richmond, Vermont)

Sliced meat and cheese, made sandwiches, did dishes, cleaned, did various small tasks, and took customers’ orders to make sure every customer got everything they needed and that they were satisfied with their service.

● Jul. 2018 - Apr. 2019        Intern, ASIC North (Williston, Vermont        )

Set up Python to run on multiple versions of Windows and parsed various formats of data including excel and output from other programs in the workflow and stored them in object-oriented structures. Data structures were used to reduce the time cost of operations for large volumes of data. The program automated the workflow for other employees by organizing and operating on data which previously had to be done by hand.

● Jun. 2017 - Aug. 2017        Intern, ASIC North (Williston, Vermont        )

Created an interactive bluetooth demo. This required setting up Unity and Visual Studio on Windows 10. The most difficult part of the project was connecting the bluetooth device to the end product. This required analyzing the format for bluetooth messages and interpreting it, connecting a transport program in C to the Windows 10 bluetooth port, and exporting it as a library to be used in the C# code in Unity. Even when the signal was getting all the way from the device to the end product and the inputs correlated reliably to visual outputs, there were still latency issues that needed to be balanced to enable real time interactivity. The end product was a 3D remake of Asteroids, where the ship's rotation was controlled by the orientation of the bluetooth device, and the size of the ship's laser was controlled by a pressure-sensitive button.

● Jun. 2016 - Aug. 2016        Intern, ASIC North (Williston, Vermont)

Worked as an administrative assistant to help with accounting and organizing files. Programmed macros to automate the workflow for other employees.
